Since horses are outside in the elements most of their lives, they need special care to keep them healthy and looking their best.
We developed this shampoo to do just that. We chose a special blend of essential oils to help replenish much needed moisture which improves the health of your horses hair dramatically.
This is a wonderful shampoo for dry winter months when your horses skin can become dried out and flaky.
All of our shampoo's are pH balanced and will not strip their natural oils.
We have done extensive research only choosing the most effective essential oils to help aid with many types of insects. We designed each one of our products out of love for our own animals and know you will love them as much as we do.
All of our products are formulated for animals as young as 4 weeks of age and can also be used on pregnant females without any worry.
All of our products are extraordinarily mild, hypoallergenic, and free of petroleum or animal by-products. There are no chemical detergents, synthetic fragrances or added colors to any of our formulas.
Mad About Organics does not engage in harmful animal testing, but washed a lot of pets after coming up with this shampoo.
Mad About Organics' Moisturizing Shampoo for Horse and Farm Animals is made in the USA - based in Eugene, Oregon and packaged in a recyclable 16oz. plastic bottle.
Shake Well Before Use
(Store at room temperature and keep out of direct sunlight to protect the essential oils)
Wet the animal down, apply a small amount of shampoo (1/4 cup) directly into a 1 gallon bucket and fill 3/4 of the way. Then use your brush or scrub mitt to apply the shampoo on the horse from the shoulder blades down to the tail.
Massage in the shampoo in a circular motion to loosen any dirt or sweat that may be trapped on your horse. It is a good idea to go back over the saddle area once more, since this area can trap dirt and sweat more often.
We recommend massaging the shampoo on the animal for at least 5 minutes. This will allow the animal to benefit from all of the essential oils.
Once finished bathing, rinse the animal well & towel dry if you prefer.
For extremely dirty animals, you may need to repeat the bathing process once more.

Cocoa Butter, Castor Oil, Glycerin and Lanolin) and a blend of Organic Essential Oils (Lavender, Evening Primrose,
Rosemary, Grapefruit, Lemongrass, Geranium, Peppermint and Orange). (
